Pinterest lets you save a pin to a board, but a board only holds a link. When the creator deletes the pin, your saved copy usually stops working too. VideoDropper saves public pins as ordinary files: paste a link, check the preview and keep an MP4 or a full-size image on your own device.
Pinterest delivers many of its videos as a stream cut into small pieces, which is why there is no Save button. We join the pieces on our server and hand you a normal MP4 made from the largest version the pin offers. If the video has sound you can also take it as an MP3, and image pins download at the biggest size we can find. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Only public pins work, because we never log in to Pinterest. Download for personal reference or inspiration, and credit the creator before you share or reuse anything.
A board is only a set of links. The creator can delete a pin, make their account private or move the image, and your saved pin loses the thing that made it useful.
A file on your own device does not depend on any of that. People save pins for these reasons.
Cooking videos, craft tutorials and DIY steps are among the most saved pins. A downloaded copy still plays in the kitchen or the workshop when the signal is poor.
Moodboards, outfit ideas and room designs are easier to use in a folder you can open without a connection, sorted the way you like.
Pins vanish when creators delete them or close their accounts. A saved copy keeps the idea you wanted for your own reference.
The feed shows a reduced version of each image. We look for the largest size Pinterest stores, which helps when you want a wallpaper or a print for your own use.
An MP4 or a JPG opens in your gallery and in any messenger, so you can send a pin to someone who has no Pinterest account.
For a song or a voice-over you want to hear without the picture, take the MP3 and play it in any music app.
Tap Share on the pin, choose Copy link, then open VideoDropper in Safari and paste it. After you tap Download, confirm the prompt and find the file in the Files app.
Copy the link in the Pinterest app, paste it here in Chrome and tap Download. The file goes to your Downloads folder and usually shows up in your gallery.
